1.美國華盛頓戰略暨國際研究中心(CSIS) 主任葛萊儀(Bonnie Glaser)正式對外公布應美國海軍邀請台灣將加入美軍在索羅門群島的演習
葛來儀(Bonnie Glaser):
Taiwan will join US navy drill in Solomon Islands as part of Pacific Partnership. Not the first time, but now being announced publicly.
2.美國參議院以85票贊成、10票反對，通過《國防授權法》草案
草案中認為美軍應該適度參加台灣軍演，例如漢光演習，也要讓台灣參加美國軍演，同時美國應該支持台灣獲得防禦性武器、加強與台灣的國防安全合作，讓台灣維持自我防衛能力。
